# Publishing

> Move finished creatives from Superscale into your ad accounts with clear approval and control.

Publishing is the handoff between creative production and live spend. Superscale can help launch and manage campaigns on supported ad platforms, but the important distinction is this: **analysis, export, publishing, and campaign management are different levels of integration.**

## The publishing ladder

  <Card title="Export">
    Download the final creative files and upload them manually to your ad platform.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Creative push">
    Send approved creative into a connected account for the platform actions listed in the capability matrix.

  <Card title="Campaign setup">

## Supported launch flow

Superscale's media-buying mode currently focuses on **Meta Ads**, **TikTok Ads**, and **Google Ads**. The exact write actions differ by platform, but campaign setup follows the same spine:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose platform and account" icon="plug">
    Select the connected ad account: Meta, TikTok Ads, or Google Ads.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Decide what to reuse" icon="git-branch">
    Campaign, ad set/ad group, and creative can each be new or reused. Reusing an ad set/ad group also reuses its parent campaign.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the creative" icon="image">
    Use an existing asset, upload one, or generate a new static/video first.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve each publish step" icon="shield-check">
    Review the approval cards before an approval-gated write action is sent. Meta and Google creation steps are approval-gated. On TikTok, campaign and ad group setup can happen before the approval-gated ad creation step.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Monitor performance" icon="gauge">
    After launch, use [performance monitoring](/features/performance-monitoring) and scheduled reports to decide what to scale or pause.
  </Step>

## Platform notes

| Platform | What to know before publishing |
| -------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Meta Ads** | Supports image and video creatives, existing Page-post promotion, Dynamic Creative text variants, ad-set daily budget changes, creative replacement, and campaign/ad set/ad status changes. Every Meta write tool is approval-gated. |
| **TikTok Ads** | Video-only for ad creation. Campaign and ad group setup support Reach, Traffic, Video Views, Conversions, and App Install. Ad creation requires an uploaded video plus a linked BC\_AUTH\_TT or TT\_USER identity, and is approval-gated. Lead-generation ad creation is not supported. |
| **Google Ads** | Supports Search campaign creation end-to-end with responsive search ads and keywords. Search or Display campaign/ad group setup is available, but Performance Max creation, responsive display ads, image ads, and video ads are not creatable here. Every Google write tool is approval-gated. |

## Approval model

An approval card appears before an approval-gated ad-platform action runs. It shows the platform, the action, the action description, and the fields that will be sent to the platform. When a creation approval card is shown, you can edit the draft fields before approving.

| Your choice        | What happens                                                                                              |
| ------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Approve | Superscale sends that one platform action with the fields shown on the card. |
| Edit, then approve | Superscale sends the edited fields instead of the original draft. |
| Decline | The platform action is not sent. The agent continues without that step or stops the current launch chain. |
| Leave unanswered | Nothing is sent while the approval card is waiting. |

Approvals are sequential. Meta and Google launches show separate approval cards for creation steps. TikTok campaign and ad group setup can happen before the approval-gated ad creation step. Superscale does not hide multiple platform writes behind one approval, except where the card explicitly names a bundled action such as Meta's campaign delivery cascade.

If a later launch step is declined or fails, earlier approved platform records are not rolled back automatically. Meta and Google records are created paused by default; TikTok campaign and ad group setup records do not deliver until an ad exists.

## Read-only versus write access

Connecting an account can mean reading performance data, importing creative history, publishing creative, or changing campaign settings. Those are not the same permission level.

<Note>
  If you only want analysis, connect read-only when the platform separates read and write scopes. If you want Superscale to publish or manage campaigns, grant the required write permission for that platform and review the approval cards before live-delivery actions run.
</Note>

## Manual upload is still useful

Even when direct publishing is available, manual export is useful for teams with strict review, platform-specific naming conventions, agency handoff, or channels not yet supported by a write integration.

## Common publishing questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Does connecting Meta/TikTok/Google mean Superscale can publish?" icon="plug">
    Not always. Meta needs ads-management plus the Page or Instagram actor used by the ad. TikTok needs ads-management, a processed video, and a linked BC\_AUTH\_TT or TT\_USER identity. Google uses the connected customer account and only creates the campaign/ad formats listed above.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Will Superscale spend money without approval?" icon="shield-check">
    No. Actions that can start delivery, pause or resume delivery, remove or archive delivery, change budget, or replace live creative go through approval cards before the platform action is sent.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can scheduled or autonomous runs bypass approval?" icon="calendar-clock">
    No. Scheduled runs can prepare reports and recommendations, but approval-gated ad-platform writes still wait for an approval card.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What if my ad account is missing?" icon="circle-help">
    Check business manager permissions, page access, and the account you selected during connection. If it still does not appear, send the account ID to support.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I publish one creative into an existing campaign?" icon="git-branch">
    Yes for supported lower-level creation flows. Reuse the existing campaign or ad set/ad group, then create only the missing lower-level entity; format limits still apply, such as TikTok video-only ads and Google responsive search ads.
